Manassas Park will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Park View on Monday. Logan Hummeldorf and Alejandro Rogers made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Hummeldorf tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Rogers pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Hummeldorf posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. At the plate, Hummeldorf went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Rogers went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Hummeldorf is becoming a predictor of Manassas Park's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-12 when he doesn't).
