Gallatin has gone 8-2 against Portland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Green Wave will face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Portland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gallatin, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Gallatin got the win against Beech by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Green Wave.
Gallatin was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-14.

Gallatin's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Skylar Wilson, who had nine digs and five aces, and Chloe Wix, who had ten assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Wix has posted since back in August.
They weren't the only good servers: Gallatin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Portland came up short against Mount Juliet on Thursday and fell 3-1.
While Portland ultimately came up short, they really made Mount Juliet work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 16-25, 28-26, 25-21.
Gallatin's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Portland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season.
Everything went Gallatin's way against Portland in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as Gallatin made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
