After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kingston, the Bismarck Indians were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 70-62 win over Lesterville. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Bismarck's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daven Miller led the charge by scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Miller has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Ketcherside, who scored 17 points along with five assists and three steals.
Bismarck's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Lesterville, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bismarck will square off against Arcadia Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lesterville on the road again on Thursday and play against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th.
