Chartiers Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the North Hills Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Chartiers Valley came up short against Mars and fell 57-45. Chartiers Valley has not had much luck with Mars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, North Hills also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to South Fayette by a score of 60-51. While losing is never fun, North Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while South Fayette is ranked 95th).
Chartiers Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for North Hills, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-7.
Chartiers Valley came up short against North Hills when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 76-70. Can Chartiers Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
