Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cole Camp). They were the clear victor by a 44-20 margin over the Sweet Springs Greyhounds on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Birds as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Cole Camp's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Sweet Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Cole Camp and St. Paul Lutheran will compete for holiday cheer at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sweet Springs, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Breckenridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
