Considering Pinnacle Classical Academy has won four contests by more than 24 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Pinnacle Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Lily Wellmon, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and three steals. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for her. Akeelah Davis was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Pinnacle Classical Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lake Lure Classical Academy, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
Pinnacle Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against The Master's Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 20th. Lake Lure Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Veritas Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
