Volleyball Recap: Center Point Has No Trouble Against Our Lady of the Hills

Center Point not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 15th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Our Lady of the Hills Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Center Point was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-7.

Cobee Beckerson paced Center Point's offense, picking up 13 kills. Beckerson got some help from Kaylani Ritter and her 15 assists. Isela Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Center Point's win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Point will challenge Medina at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Our Lady of the Hills, they will venture away from home to take on DaVinci at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th.
