Baseball Game Preview: The Webb School Feet vs. Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars

The Webb School Feet will head out on the road to face off against the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Webb School will be strutting in after a victory while Middle Tennessee Christian will be coming in after a loss.

The Webb School will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Davidson Academy, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Feet walked away with a 6-2 win over the Bears on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Feet.

Drew Baker was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for The Webb School: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Fogle, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee Christian lost 9-1 to Christian Academy of Knoxville on Saturday.

Middle Tennessee Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for The Webb School, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

The Webb School might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Middle Tennessee Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Feet avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
