ANADARKO, Okla. -
Anadarko (Okla.) extended its winning streak to nine games with a 56-7 victory over Weatherford (Okla.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
RJ Sink in the first quarter, the Warriors led 21-0 at the half.
Anadarko grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS scored four times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Sink.
Weatherford's lone touchdown came on a 20-yard pass in the third quarter.
The Warriors had given up an average of 8.0 points prior to the contest.
Anadarko also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 36-0.
Anadarko (9-0) will play a 4A District 1 game against Elgin next week, while Weatherford (3-5) will take on Piedmont also in a 4A District 1 game.
