Mountain Range has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. Having just played yesterday, they will head out on the road to face off against the Erie Tigers at 12:30 p.m. on February 10th. Mountain Range will be strutting in after a win while Erie will be coming in after a loss.
On Friday, Mountain Range beat Northglenn 50-41. The victory was just what Mountain Range needed coming off of a 59-35 defeat in their prior game.
Delilah Lucero and Josieraye Running Wolf were among the main playmakers for Mountain Range as the former scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lucero has scored at least a third of Mountain Range's points.
Meanwhile, Erie unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 55-38 fall against Monarch.
Mountain Range's victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Erie, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
Mountain Range was taken down by Erie 76-29 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Mountain Range was down 39-11.
