CHULA VISTA, Calif. -
Olympian (Chula Vista, Calif.) put an additional 13 points on the board on top of its 27-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, Calif.) 40-0.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Christopher Humphery in the second quarter, the Eagles led 7-0 at the half.
Olympian expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. OHS scored three times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by
Isaiah Gibson.
With the win the Eagles extended their winning streak to 10 games. Olympian defeated the Titans 35-24 last week.
Humphery played well for OHS in the victory. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
The Eagles came into the game allowing 15.4 points per game. The Barons' zero points were well below their season average of 20.7 per game.
A 20-7 Olympian victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
