Boca Raton can attribute much of their success to Luke Dahmer, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Dahmer hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lavar Jamison, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Boynton Beach still got an impressive performance from Marvis Pementer, who scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was Mitshev Duquency, who scored six points along with five assists.
Boca Raton's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Boynton Beach, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boca Raton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Emmanuel Augustin and Jamison.
