Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bodie Cox, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Cox has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Morgan Durbin, who scored 15 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Lee's Summit West and bumps their season record up to 3-10. As for Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
Lee's Summit West will head out on the road to square off against Lee's Summit North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee's Summit North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lee's Summit West in Missouri (Lee's Summit North is ranked 28th, while Lee's Summit West is ranked 289th). Lebanon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. Charles at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. St. Charles is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
