1. North Little Rock
2013-14 finish: 26-2, Class 7A state champions
Head coach: Johnny Rice

The Charging Wildcats lost Anton Beard to the Arkansas Razorbacks, but that won't prevent them from making a run at a Class 7A three-peat. Florida commit KeVaughn Allen (6-3, Sr., G) leads a talented group of returners that will put North Little Rock in the preseason national Top 25 picture.

2. Bentonville
2013-14 finish: 18-6, Class 7A semifinalist
Head coach: Jason McMahan

Bentonville is the home of Wal-Mart and star junior guard Malik Monk (6-3). A Top 10 prospect in the 2016 class, Monk added to his legend over the summer with a record 59-point performance in Nike EYBL play. The Tigers will sharpen their claws for another run at North Little Rock by appearing in December's City of Palms Classic in Florida.

3. Springdale
2013-14 finish: 22-6, Class 7A runner-up
Head coach: Brad Stamps

Chris Owens (6-3, Sr., G) and Tereke Eckwood (5-10, Sr., G) are back after leading the Bulldogs in scoring in 2013-14. Both pumped in over 12 points per game as juniors. Six other players who saw time a year ago also return.

4. Jonesboro
2013-14 finish: 30-3, Class 6A state champions
Head coach: Wes Swift

Jonesboro is one of the blue bloods in Arkansas high school basketball, winning its first state crown in 1916 and its most recent last year. Underrated senior guard Marquise Pointer (6-0), a College of Charleston commit, will lead the charge for a 12th title.

5. Parkview (Little Rock)
2013-14 finish: 29-2, Class 6A runner-up
Head coach: Al Flanigan

The Patriots are always a threat under Flanigan, who has won five state titles at Parkview. Senior guard Jaylen Franklin (6-0) is back after captaining the team as a junior.
