West Broward won the last time they faced Somerset Academy and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The West Broward Bobcats were the clear victor by  a  14-1 margin over the Somerset Academy Panthers. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by ten  runs or more this season.
 Cheyanne Chaffin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Ava Difato was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Cyara Geronimo was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 West Broward  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Somerset Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .200.
The  win made it two in a row for West Broward and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Looking ahead, West Broward will host Cardinal Gibbons  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
