When it comes to explaining why Hamlin lost, one person who can't be blamed is AJ Rivera. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. Luke White was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Knox City's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Hamlin, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
