Meanwhile, Granville fought the good fight in their overtime match against Lake George on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Lakers 46-42.
Melissa Beaver put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lauren Bascom, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Argyle's loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Granville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
