New Egypt has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. After both having extra time off, the New Egypt Warriors and the Bordentown Scotties will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on November 22nd. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Two weeks ago, New Egypt was the victim of a rough 33-7 loss at the hands of Lakewood.
Meanwhile, Bordentown came up short against Lakewood on Thursday and fell 30-20.
New Egypt's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.0 points per game. As for Bordentown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
New Egypt was taken down by Bordentown 47-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can New Egypt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
