The Bell Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Bronson at home and fell 56-22. Bell lost against Bronson in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-46 score last time.
Bronson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cast Nickolls, who scored 15 points. Justice Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Bell's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-3. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.0 points per game. As for Bronson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bell has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Saint Francis Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. One thing working in Saint Francis Catholic's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bronson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chiefland at 8:00 p.m. Chiefland and Bronson are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
