Armwood (Seffner, Fla.) put up 14 points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 28-0 victory over
King (Tampa, Fla.).
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Hawks led 7-0 at the half.
Armwood grew its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by
Noah Johnson to
Austin Gallon.
The Seffner school went into the matchup giving up only 4.1 points per game. The zero points that the Lions ended with were well below their average of 19.5 coming into the game.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Hawks came away with a 19-8 victory.
Armwood (8-0) will play a 6A District 8 game against Chamberlain next week, while King (5-4) will take on Leto also in a 6A District 8 game.
