The Wasatch Academy Tigers lost against the American Prep WV Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Wasatch Academy was beaten by American Prep WV 41-13. Wasatch Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
American Prep WV's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nicole Tran led the charge by scoring 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leticia Calderon, who scored 12 points.
Wasatch Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for American Prep WV, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Wasatch Academy will head out on the road to square off against Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for American Prep WV, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockwell is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
