Volleyball Recap: Central Crossing Falls to Hamilton Township in First Game of Season

Central Crossing kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the Hamilton Township Rangers. The Comets have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Central Crossing started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.

Central Crossing's loss came despite strong showings from Emily Jude and Lily Snider. Jude had 11 digs and three aces, while Snider had 14 digs. Jude has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Central Crossing has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Groveport-Madison on the 21st. As for Hamilton Township, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Grove City Christian on the 21st.
