The result came thanks to Chloe Murphy's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Chapmanville Regional saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Lusk, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
