The Hills Academy Knights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against Trinity Prep by a score of 60-52. That's another feather in the cap for Hills Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hills Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Pugh, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. Pugh has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Adrian Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five steals.

Hills Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Creation Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Trinity Prep, they will take on Furtah Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Furtah Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 matches -- so hopefully Trinity Prep likes a good challenge.
