Rampart has gone 9-1 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rampart has 15 straight victories, Liberty has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Rampart is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Pine Creek, who was ranked 24th at the time (Rampart was ranked ninth). The Rams won by a set and slipped past the Eagles 3-2. The game was the first time the Rams have beaten the Eagles on their court since October 25, 2022.
Rampart wouldn't go down easily and took Pine Creek into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 23-25, 22-25, 15-9.

Gabriella Melecio was her usual excellent self, getting 30 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellery Anderson, who had 12 digs.
Meanwhile, Liberty lost 3-0 to Fountain-Fort Carson on Tuesday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-16.
Rampart's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Rampart hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 7.7 blocks per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.4 blocks. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
