Gulf Pointe Latin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by 29 points or more this season.
Holland Hamer was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Gulf Pointe Latin's points. Ava Matthews was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
The victory (which was Gulf Pointe Latin's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4. As for Lighthouse Baptist Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Pointe Latin will challenge Santa Rosa Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lighthouse Baptist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Central Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 5th. Central Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
