You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Natalia's strategy against Dilley on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Natalia Mustangs blew the Dilley Wolves out of the water with a 65-33 final score. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Angel Martinez and Matthew Montoya certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Martinez dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds, while Montoya posted seven points. Montoya is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The victory (which was Natalia's third in a row) raised their record to 14-16. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Dilley, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Natalia will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Poteet at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in Poteet's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Dilley, they will head out on the road to square off against Jourdanton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
