 Olivia Geralds made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits (and not a single walk). That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Geralds wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Julia Whelan, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  double. Whelan is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
Red Bud's record is now 20-7. As for Hamilton County, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bud will square off against O'Fallon at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
