Omaha Central is a perfect 6-0 against Benson since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Mighty Bunnies at 11:00 a.m. Omaha Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Silas Weber made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Another player making a difference was Quinn Whittinghill, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Benson lost 24-3 to Westview on Monday. The Mighty Bunnies have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lamar Little Dog was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Omaha Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Benson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Omaha Central got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Benson by a conclusive 16-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
