There's no place like home for Landrum, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They never let the Blacksburg Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Landrum has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Blacksburg is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Landrum will welcome Blue Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Blacksburg, they will host Woodruff at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Woodruff will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Blacksburg surely won't give up without a fight.
