Even though the New Albany Bulldogs scored an imposing 68 points on Friday, the Byhalia Indians still came out on top. Byhalia had just enough and edged New Albany out 70-68. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Byhalia.
New Albany's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden Shettles, who scored 21 points along with two steals. Shettles has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Gilbert, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Byhalia has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for New Albany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

As for New Albany, New Albany and Biggersville will face off at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Biggersville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,029 points over their last 15 matchups.
