Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of TERRA Environmental. The Knights were not able to make up for their  defeat to TERRA Environmental from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Sunset sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-27, 25-23, 23-25,  15-13.
Their offense was headlined by  Sofia Landi and  Analyse Torrech, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from  Gabriela Rojas and her 17 assists. Torrech was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with five aces.
 Among those leading the charge was   LAYLA REYHANI, who  had 17  digs and six  assists. That's the most  digs  she has posted  over her last five  contests. Another player making a difference was  BRIANNE JIMENEZ, who  had 17 assists and three  aces.
Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for TERRA Environmental, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
 Coincidentally, Sunset and TERRA Environmental will both be playing Braddock the next time they take the court. TERRA Environmental will  host the Bulldogs at 1:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while the Knights will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
