Immaculate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 58-51 to the New Milford Green Wave. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Immaculate saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kendra Foy posted 35 points. Another player making a difference was Gianna Alfano, who put up five points.

Immaculate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for New Milford, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immaculate will venture away from home to square off against Bunnell at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for New Milford, they will head out on the road to challenge Newtown at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
