The Kimball Jaguars can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 81-19 victory over Valley on the road. That looming 81-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kimball yet this season.
Kimball's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tobe Nwankwo, who scored 20 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Nwankwo scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Tristen DeBenedetti, who scored 13 points along with six assists and four steals.
Kimball's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sierra the next time they take the court. Valley will head out to face Sierra at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kimball will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
