The Westminster Wolves will look to defend their home court on Friday against the George Washington Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Westminster will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Patriots are ranked 49th).
On Wednesday, Westminster took a serious blow against the Raiders, falling 81-37.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 33% better than the opposition, a fact George Washington proved on Friday. They walked away with a 47-38 win over Rangeview.
George Washington found their leader in underclassman Jeremiah Trimm, who scored 18 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Trimm hasn't dropped below 17 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Tre Borne, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Westminster has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for George Washington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
