The Meadows School Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Pahrump Valley Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Meadows School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
The Meadows School fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Boulder City on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Killian Seip was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
In other batting news, Connor McGill was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Ethan Schneiderman was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Pahrump Valley has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.6 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 11-1 to The Meadows School. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since May 8, 2024.
Pahrump Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Fried, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.
