While Dublin's victory against Monte Vista wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Dublin came out on top in a nail-biter against Monte Vista on Friday, sneaking past 4-2. The Gaels haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Andrew Zorinich looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Dublin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandt Nunemacher, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Nunemacher has posted since March 1st.

Dublin's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Monte Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dublin will welcome Livermore at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Livermore will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Dublin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monte Vista, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against De La Salle at 4:00 p.m.
