Shelbyville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the San Augustine Wolves a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Dallas Murry made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Morgan Doggett was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Duvon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Shelbyville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Shelbyville's win bumped their record up to 17-7-1. As for San Augustine, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Shelbyville nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
