Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Tumwater walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the East Valley Red Devils 42-0. The Thunderbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Tumwater pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.9 points on average over those games. As for East Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Looking ahead, Tumwater will challenge Archbishop Murphy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Thunderbirds will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. East Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
