Baseball Recap: Delta Wins Going Away Against Winchester Community

Winchester Community typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Delta proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Golden Falcons 9-3. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Golden Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Myles Enos tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Delta's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zane Cline, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI Cline has posted since back in April.

Delta's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Winchester Community, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-4.

Delta will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Golden Falcons: the pair will be back at it again later today.
