They took their match at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 72-18 win over Booker T. Washington Magnet. With Montgomery Academy ahead 47-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Montgomery Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Skyler Stovall out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Stovall has scored at least 25% of Montgomery Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of D.J. Vinson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Montgomery Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Booker T. Washington Magnet, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
