Broaddus extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kingston Sanders. The Bulldogs came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-37 W against the Chester Yellowjackets thanks in part to Sanders, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Broaddus' points.

Broaddus' victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Chester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Broaddus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-54 win against West Rusk on the 6th. As for Chester, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-45 defeat against West Sabine on the 6th.
