Glen Lake stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Frankfort 57-30 on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Glen Lake had established a 26 point advantage.
Glen Lake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Plamondon out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Dylan Cundiff was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Leland's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 51-36 to Onekama.
Glen Lake is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Leland, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
Everything came up roses for Glen Lake against the Comets when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 74-20 victory. With Glen Lake ahead 42-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
