After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Powell, Oak Ridge was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They blew past the Karns Beavers 35-0 at home. The Wildcats' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
  Blaine Stansberry was a one-man wrecking crew for Oak Ridge as he threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.  Damillyan Porter helped  Stansberry out on the ground, rushing for 62 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also picking up 39 receiving yards.
 Oak Ridge's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Karns,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Oak Ridge will square off against McMinn County at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Oak Ridge is facing McMinn County at the right time seeing as McMinn County is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Karns, they will head out to  face off against Heritage  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
