Clarion Area extended the longest winning streak in Keystone Shortway - Small this week by beating Brookville, 34-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Bobcats.
Clarion Area took down the Raiders 34-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. John Katis threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
Larry Wiser's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground TJ Armstrong chipped in 94 yards. Cody Hearst helped Clarion Area's passing attack out by catching three balls for 49 yards.
Camron Kirkland was the best wideout in the league this week as the Bobcats defeated Brookville. Kirkland tallied two receptions for 73 yards.
Clarion Area's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Katis has thrown for 1246 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Hearst has 26 catches for 572 yards. Armstrong leads the league in rushing with 780 yards.
