After flying high against the Eastern View Cyclones on Monday, the Brooke Point Black Hawks came back down to earth. Brooke Point took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Forest Park on Thursday.
Several Black Hawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Yanis Youbi, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Apietu, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Brooke Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Forest Park, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Brooke Point will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chancellor at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Chancellor focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday. As for Forest Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
