DePaul Catholic came up short against Passaic Valley, falling 40-32. The loss was a vexing one since the Spartans were expected to win based on their ranking.
DePaul Catholic's defeat pushed them down to 4-8. The win improved Passaic Valley's record to 4-12.
DePaul Catholic will take on Clifton on Thursday. Clifton also suffered a recent defeat, falling 40-32 to Passaic. Passaic Valley will be playing at home against West Milford on Thursday. West Milford took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Passaic Valley's good fortune.
