Lafayette Central Catholic extended their postseason success on Saturday against Fountain Central. They were the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over the Fountain Central Mustangs. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Fountain Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hannah Prickett, who posted five points and six rebounds. Prickett is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Halen McBride, who scored six points.

Lafayette Central Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Fountain Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
