The Richmond Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kettering.
Kevin Meredith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kettering, scoring 25 points along with three steals. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jordan Jarrell, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Richmond has fallen quite a ways from their 22-3 record last season and are now at 1-4. As for Kettering, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond will be home for the holidays to greet Marine City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Marine City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Tuesday. As for Kettering, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Lamphere at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
