Sherando had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Liberty on Thursday. The Warriors blew past the Eagles 16-5. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Madalyn Cox, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leighanne Lowe, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Sherando's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Liberty, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Sherando will square off against Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will face off against Handley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Judges at the right time seeing as the Judges are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
